- Performance over opinion. Player values and scores come from stats and on-field performance, not subjective ratings.
- Official and permitted data. Our tools are built on official and permitted free data sources, refreshed on a schedule.
- Honest labeling. When a number is an estimate, we say so. We don't fill gaps with made-up data.
Founder
Michael Kuritz, FMVA
Michael Kuritz, FMVA, is the solo founder and sole owner of Sports Labs.
Michael holds a finance degree from the University of Pittsburgh and spent 8 years in investment management and financial technology as a financial technology consultant, working with firms including SEI Investments and Vanguard. He is the author of the Kuritz Chaos Index (KCI), a composite macro-stress indicator for financial-system surveillance, available on ResearchGate.
He built Sports Labs out of his passion for the Philadelphia Eagles and a goal of giving fellow sports hobbyists an edge.
